Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Perez grew up with two wonderful parents who worked as doctors, and he witnessed their love for helping others and working closely with people in need firsthand. These early experiences motivated him to follow in their footsteps and serve his local community too through dentistry.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Perez completed his initial dental degree at the University of Medicine at Cuba in 1997, practicing in the country for several years before choosing to come to the United States. He then attended dental school a second time at UCLA, graduating in 2011. He also currently serves in the U.S. Army National Guard with a rank of Major and has done so since 2013.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Perez has a beautiful wife named Cecilia and a daughter named Melissa who is currently in high school. The family also shares their home with two adorable puppies. When he isn’t busy working with teeth, his favorite hobbies include biking on trails, running, watching movies, playing with the dogs, going to the beach, playing tennis, bowling, and singing his heart out at karaoke.
